The True Light Is Shining

It's good to be here and feel the wonderful presence of the Lord. Let's sing a little chorus before you sit down. Can we? It's good to be here tonight. It's good to see you here tonight. It's wonderful to be up in this area. I love to preach to the Carolinian people. We've preached to them for a number of years, in numbers of places in North and South Carolina, and they're wonderful people. We had a tent crusades with them, and meetings in churches and we're certainly glad to have you out here tonight. I said last night that coming to Boone is not just another meeting, even though it is another meeting, and we're glad to come to preach to the people because this is the thrill of our heart, is to do something for Jesus. And I know it's the thrill of your heart to do something for Jesus, and especially to see a soul saved. To see a soul saved and to know that one has escaped the determents of the Lake of Fire, and that one has come out of death into life. And then it is a thrill to be able to do that. And we're so grateful to be here, and we're so thankful for you. But coming here to Boone is more than that. Our ministry, as I said last night, follows a revelational thing and has for numbers of years been that way. We've been led by the Spirit of the Lord to move by revelation and move by the leadership of the Lord. It's almost to where people don't try to be led by the Spirit of the Lord anymore, or the things of God. Which is real bad because the Bible teaches that the steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord, and we should submit to that with all of our heart that we could do just exactly what He wants us to do. The Bible said casting down imagine and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of the Lord Jesus Christ. So we're thankful to be here because of the wonderful thing that it has to do with, the coming of the Lord and to the spiritual revelation of Christ. And we're glad to see you here and we're glad to share what we can with you of the wonderful words of life. I wonder if I could--. Let's just sing this little chorus together. Let's sing I Love Him, Brother Taylor. (Singing) Can you sing it with me? (Singing) Can we sing it just one more time together? Let's sing it together now. (Singing) You can be seated. Last night I spoke with you about pleasing the Lord. In in the book of Luke, 9: 41, you find Jesus said, O, faithless generation, how long shall I be with you; how long will I suffer you? You know, this is a kind of a strong statement here. The Lord spoke to the people of His day. Remember now, God walking in a human body. God personified as a human being. God Almighty, the great Eternal Father. Our Heavenly Father, the great Eternal Spirit tabernacling in a human form saying, This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. Or the original rendering, in whom I am pleased to dwell. So, this great wonderful God, this great wonderful Spirit the Heavenly Father coming down to earth. And the Bible says, He was in the world and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. And it tells us that this One that had made heaven and earth actually came down in a human form to visit with mankind and to leave them an example of what to do, to let them know His desire and to walk among men that He might become the example of all man kind that all mankind might follow in His steps. And that He might, through the mastery of faith and His ability place on exhibit the life of God. And Jesus, being filled with the Spirit, the Bible said God having given Him the Spirit, not by measure but without measure that the fullness of God dwelt in Him. Coming down in to the world He became a great master among mankind. And He mastered every situation. He mastered sin. He mastered death. He mastered sickness. He mastered everything. He rose great and mighty above all rulers and all kings. The Bible said He made an open show of the principalities and powers of this world, triumphing over them at Calvary and made an open show of them, as to His greatness, of His might, and to the debauchery of their life. And I've got a feeling that if He should return today as a human being that He would do the same thing today. And, of course, He will. The Bible speaks of it in the end time where He will come and all the kings of the earth will be ashamed. And He will come as the master to take over all things, because He is the master and He mastered all things when He was here. You know, we have a great privilege. This great wonderful privilege that God has given us, this privilege is to have the Lord with us. Last night I made mention of this also. That the world is looking for Jesus, and we are all looking for Jesus. The Jewish people are looking for Jesus. All nations are looking for Jesus, and we are expecting Him to appear any moment in the clouds. And the Bible says when He appears every eye shall see Him. Every eye shall see Him. You know, sometimes people try to lead us to believe that it's going to be such a hushed and such a secret thing that they've got a special thing for us, and you know, we don't have to look for the coming of the Lord that it's some kind of a special thing hid away in the secret chambers, or whatever. But, nevertheless, Jesus said, as the lightning flashes from the East unto the West so shall the coming of the Son of Man be. And in the book of Revelation it tells us that the sign of the Son of Man shall appear in the heavens and just stay there. And all of the tribes of the earth shall mourn and they'll run for the rocks and the mountains and cry, cry for the rocks and the mountains to fall upon them and hide them from the face of Him that sitteth upon the Throne for they'll say, The great day of His wrath has come and who shall be able to stand. And the Bible said they'll cast their money to the bats, crying for this covering of God and His wrath. See? And we know that the Lord is near at hand. We know that the coming of Lord is close. We understand this, but at the same time we've got a consolation that the world in general doesn't have, that is to say the Church, the body of Jesus Christ. We have a consolation, and this consolation is when Jesus started to leave His disciples He said, I must leave you, and I must go away, which was very grievous to them. And this was really distorting to their lives because they had given their whole life. They had left their families and followed hard after Jesus and now He was fixing to leave them. Kind of like a Pastor leaving a flock, and He was leaving them and they didn't know where to go, or what to do. But Jesus said, Don't let your hearts be troubled. I'm going away. Said, I must go away. If I go not away the comforter cannot come. But if I go away I'll send the comforter unto you. And He'll come unto you, and when He comes unto you He'll come in my name and testify of me, which makes us to know that the comforter, being the wonderful Holy Spirit, or as the King James rendering gives it, the Holy Ghost, in that after God had personified Himself in the Lord Jesus He was now considered a ghost, just like a ghost within you and I. Or His Spirit was considered to have a form like a human form. So then, He said, I'll come back to you. Being the Spirit of Christ, being the Holy Spirit, being the Holy Ghost He come out of that body, set that body at the right hand of the Father as a blood dipped vesture, came back from that body and came into our hearts according to the measure as to whatever measure we'll receive Him. The Bible said and Jesus rose from the dead and gave gifts unto men, and has dealt unto every man a measure of faith. So then, we know that He kept His word. He said, I will go away but I will return unto you. I'll return. He said a comforter, and then He just told them out right. He said I will return unto you. But remember now, He said I will return unto you but the world will not see me. And this is where we need to differentiate properly here because there is something that belongs to the church that doesn't belong to the world, and that is the very presence of Almighty God where He said two or three gathering together in My name there I will be in the midst of them. I go away. If I go not away the comforter will not come. Or that is, as long as I'm here in a human body this great wonderful Christ on the inside cannot return unto you to live in your hearts. He said, But if this body goes away then the Spirit of this body will return and this Christ will be on the inside of you. And just as this Christ has made me the bodily members of Almighty God, being the express image of God Himself, this will make you the body of Almighty God, as to the membership of the body of the Lord Jesus Christ, the church of whom Jesus is head. And so then I go away, but I come again, and when I come, He said, the world will not see me but you shall see me, even with the eyes of your understanding being enlightened to comprehend the heights and the depths and the width and the length of this great marvelous light. He said, I will come again and I'll be closer than a brother. For a Brother can be with you, He said, but I shall be in you, and the world shall not see me but you shall see me. Now at the coming of the Lord, He's coming back and every eye shall see Him when He returns in His human form to the Jewish people to show them the nail prints, when they'll mourn for days and say where did you get the nails, and He'll say, In the house of my friends. But we who are spiritual Jews the Lord Jesus Christ has returned unto us through the act of Pentecost, having come back to us and is living on the inside. And the Bible said if any man, or woman deny this then they are an Antichrist. If any man deny that Christ is come in the flesh, or is living in the flesh, as of today, he is an Antichrist. So we know that He is here and we know that He is inside of us. And the Bible says if the Spirit be in you that raised up Christ from the dead He shall also by His Spirit quicken your mortal body. So then we know that we feel the verbal inspiration of the quickening of the wonderful God of heaven who lives in us and dwells in us for the Bible said He shall be in you, He shall live in you, He shall dwell in you, and He shall walk in you. And so then we know that He is here today. We know that He is in our heart. That gives me such a feeling, such a buoyant feeling and such a joy and jubilance to know that I'm not by myself and that I'm not here trying to fight this battle alone. You know, one thing that we really need to grasp, and that is that you cannot live a Christian life as an individual. This is something that we really need to get a hold of. I say this a lot of times and sometimes it's a little misunderstood. But remember, you cannot live a Christian life as an individual. You may join the church, you may give in the offering. You may be a fine person in your community. You may even do as the man did that went up to the temple that said, I fast twice a week, I pay tithes of all I possess and all of these kind of things, but that is not the way to get to heaven. You can't do that. You may be ritualistic. You may be in the best kind of community. You may be of the best kind of people. You may be morally some of the very best and belong to the best organization in the world, but that doesn't bring you salvation. See? Salvation, the word means deliverance, and the real deliverance comes from the Spirit. There is no life in the human body. That's why the Bible said the body without the spirit is dead. The life is in the spirit. So then without the spirit the body hath no life, and it is with the spirit, when it quickens us unto mortal life that we are alive in this world and in the world to come. We have an energy that comes to us and it flows down from the cosmos, and it comes down as cosmic energy, entering into our body through the hypothalamus, and it comes down in us and it quickens every fiber of our body. And every organic part that we've got it severally divides, as to the quickening as to the vibration of the body. And even people of today, there are witches among us even as today that practice things, that discern things through the vibrations of the cosmic energy that comes down. But this coming down into our heart that is a temporal life, that's a stimulus. That's what man is today, and that's all he is. Though man feels he's great. He feels he is mighty. He feels like he is something, you know, that is out of the ordinary, that he is a God, and he is. But in the way that he thinks he is in at place to where it is such self esteem it's such a great thing until like Nebuchadnezzar of old he walks around as Nebuchadnezzar did through the Palace of his day saying, Look what my hands have gotten me. Look at al l these great things I have done, as the hand began to write on the wall and it began to say, Thou art weighed in the balance and found wanting, as in the days of Belshazzar, and as it was when the hand began to write on the wall, as we say, the wall of time and when he went out with the beast. And the voice from heaven said this tree has reached unto heaven. Said, cut it down. Let seven times pass over it. Let the dew of heaven wet it until he knows that God rules in the kingdom of men, and that He gives the kingdom unto whomsoever He will. That He raises up whom He will, and He puts down whom He will, and that He even raises them up the baser sort and puts them in as kings and queens, presidents and rulers so that He can punish the people for their iniquity and their wrong. God who creates the good and the evil, works all things after the counsel of His own will. Can evil come to a city and I've not sent it? saith the Lord. So then, we know that God is the ruler and here we are a little, just a nothing, just a fragment of the earth, just a little speck in the universe and we're dependant upon the cosmic energy to quicken us and give us life. And all we have is the breath of life in our nostrils and if somebody came up and closed the mouth and held the nose for a few minutes we'd be no more. If somebody gave us a real jolt life would be gone. And that's where we are, just a little pump in here that's pumping, you know, and this heart pushing the blood through as a friction and picking up through the lungs that oxygen that stimulates this body, and that's all there is to us. And we have maybe fifty, sixty, seventy years. Seventy years according to the Bible. Three score and ten, and some live longer by reason of strength. But we see that we're nothing. We're just specks in the universe, and still with our educational systems, with our monetary values of life, with our covetousness of all things, with our lust and our drive, and especially in our youth, we just feel invincible. We just feel like we're something that will never die. And yet all the time, young people and old people alike are dying. Wars, tornadoes, diseases, frustrations, anxieties, nerves breaking down, funeral homes filling up, and all kind of institutions filling up, from mental institutions to prisons and everything else, see? We know then that something is missing in our life. With all of our medical profession we can't do anything about it. Though we spend millions on medicine we can't do anything about it. And as I said last night, we're coming now to the place where there will be no healing medicine. If the church goes out the light has gone out, then the world all they do is reflect the light of the children of God and that's the only reason they can even perfect medicine. And God has given that to us to where we can perfect our faith in the Lord to have a great wonderful faith of God that He intended us to have. That's why He said, faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you? See? Doing the things of the world we're not confidenting our heart toward God, and therefore we're losing all our benefits. Even America, as I said last night also, it's falling, and it's falling fast. Now. The greatest nation of the world falling. When we stop and think about that it moves us. Right after I'd made a statement here recently concerning no healing medicine the Atlanta Journal, I believe it was, published an article, and it was about a page, or a page and a half, where these people of medical science said we're running out of healing medicine. Said, all of these little pills, all of these antibiotics, all of these things that we're been able to present to the people down through the years, said, we've been able to cope with any kind of disease, or whatever come to the service, said, but all of sudden we're not going to be able to cope with it. And all of a sudden our antibiotics are not going to stop their pain and their misery, said, because something has happened and this something that has taken place, it is something that has caused all of these germs to become super bugs. They have become super germs and now our antibiotics will not do anything to them and they just feed of them. And people are getting worse and worse and, said, it looks like we're headed for the dark ages again. Looks like we're going back into that that we were in before we had all of these conveniences. America falling. This great world that was given to us as a new world to be symbolic of Canaan Land, or Heaven, that the church might flourish here, have all of the good things of life to show the light of the love of God and as we walk with God and worked for God and loved God righteousness exalted our nation, but then when people got so careless that they're lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God they are more interested in the passions of the body, eating and drinking and buying and selling and education, all the things, sports and the fantasies of life, then when they begin to get out in the world and in to sin when He told them to come out from the world, be ye a separate people, touch not the unclean thing and I will receive you, saith the Lord. When they began to do these things then sin came in. Whereas the Bible said righteousness exalteth a nation but sin is a reproach to any people. And here we are still the little finite people. Here we are still dependant upon the cosmos just to live. Just a breath of life. That's all we've got. You know, the stimulant of our heart, and that's all there is to us. See? And dying by the millions continually. And here we are in that kind of condition knowing that right at our finger tips there is the wonderful love of God. There is the wonderful eternal life of Christ and knowing that the true ministry of God is constantly offering to you the words of life. Jesus said, He that heareth my words and belive on Him that has sent me is passed from death unto life and shall never come into the condemnation. So there is now therefore no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh, that comes out of the world but walks after the Spirit. Whereas the Bible said, and these things we should meditate in His laws day and night, casting down imagination, everything high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, bringing into captivity to the obedience of Christ every thought. So we know then that this wonderful light that we spoke of is shining. This wonderful understanding of God is now shining. And the Bible said it shall come to pass at evening time there shall be light. And this great wonderful light, even after Calvary. And the Bible said this light shined in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not, but to as many as could comprehended it and believed on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, that God gave unto the them power to become the sons of God. And so then that light shined. Today that light is still shining. That light is an understanding. When the Bible speaks of darkness it speaks of intellectual darkness, of ignorance, blinded by the ignorance which is within you. And the Bible said the people of this world they cannot comprehend that great light of the mind of God, as to the understanding of that world of everlasting light. They can't comprehend that for the Bible said this wonderful light shined in darkness but they comprehended it not. For they shall not see when good cometh for Satan, Lucifer, even the god of this world having blinded their eyes, even their eyes of understanding, they cannot comprehend this light. But you being children of God, being children of light, it is given to you that when this light shines in the midst of the darkness of these intellectual scholars of today, you have a spirit called the Daystar on the inside, even Christ. He that overcometh I will give him the bright and the morning star. And that bright and morning star is Christ on the inside. And He hath given you that light. He hath given you this light that it might shine upon the allegoric shadows of this world to move the veil away and let us see clearly. Not as through a glass darkly but rather face to face. The Bible saying that all the invisible things of God from the creation of the world are clearly understood by the things which do appear, and the world does cannot understand the mysteries. The disciples ask Jesus on one occasion, said, Why is it that you preach to these people in parables, seeing that they understand not what you say? Jesus said, It is not given to them to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God. It's just given unto them to know the Gospel that they might be guilty. The Gospel in all the world to every creature. He said, But as to the performance of it, He said, it's not given unto them to know the mysteries; it's given unto you. You that have this light on the inside will move this parabolic shadow away and be able to comprehend the wonderful light of the mystery of God, the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Whereas the Bible said in Revelation 10 and 7 at the sounding of the last trump the mystery of God should be finished. So then, we know that with the finishing then the church will be sealed in and the world be in spirit of darkness because as scientists say the sun moving away into a nova and it will brighten up. This agrees with the Scripture. As to the book of Revelation it teaches that the sun will do that and that a third part of it will be smitten, and darkness will be upon the face of the earth, the moon turning in to blood and all these hideous things that we don't have time to enumerate tonight. These things are going to happen to the people upon the earth. And the Bible said, even upon the Jews, that great wrath is determined upon those people. Paul saying, because you have rejected the Messiah, having killed the wise men, and stoned them that come to you, great wrath has come upon you, Paul said, even to the uttermost. and the Bible speaks of those people, as to the tribulation period saying, and the wrath of God shall be upon them, as to a tribulation, such as has never been since before the world was. Now. So that means that they're going through a great tribulation. Whereas you've been through a spiritual tribulation of many things they're going through tribulation, and they're going through tribulation that you wouldn't go through. Why? They're going through this tribulation because they have not honored the Lord. They've done the same thing that America is doing now, and America is headed for that tribulation period. The Bible said to you and I, Pray always that you may be counted worth to escape the things that are coming on the earth for the Bible said they would literally gnaw their tongues for pain. And there won't be any healing medicines and they won't be any way out. But these Jews that God gave the law to in the day of Moses told them right and wrong, told them what to do and they haven't done it. I've been over them numbers of times. I've preached in their county. We purchased a place there inside of the old walls of Jerusalem. Those people have become hostile. Even the Priests are bad about drinking and they've laid aside the ordinances of God to the extent that when Christ the Messiah came, the one that had given these things to Moses they didn't even recognize them and they allowed the Roman powers to put Him to death by giving their voice to that saying, Let His blood be upon us. And all through the Holocaust, and all down through the years it's been upon them. Now the tribulation is coming and the wrath of God is upon them. Why? Because He set them as a light saying, I'll make you the head and not the tail if you'll keep my commandments. As He said when He brought about three million people out of Egypt, And if you'll harken diligently to me to keep my commandments, to do my saying I will not bring upon you all of these terrible calamities that I brought upon the Egyptian people. And the original rendering there is allow these things to come upon you. See? And so now they are doing these things because they know right and wrong. Folks, you've come to the light. You've come to the understanding. Now you know right and wrong. And the Bible says that once you come to the knowledge of the truth there remaineth no more sacrifice for sin. If you reject it then there is only a fearful looking forward of the fiery indignation of God that shall devour His adversaries. So then the Jews knew better. I know we're prone to say, Well, Brother Pike, the Bible said the Jews said were blinded in part. And they were, as to the part from Calvary coming on over, as to the Messiah and the days of the wonderful spiritual Jew, as to his reign with God, or the Christ within our heart. They were blinded to that and they could not see beyond Calvary. From Calvary all the way back they did see, but being blinded in part this did not suffice as to God when it came to the fact that they knew right and wrong. Moses had told them right and wrong. Though they were blinded to the Messiah, and though they were blinded as to the Jewish people, as to the spiritual Jew which Paul says in a true Jew saying he that is outward is not a Jew, but he that is inwardly he is the true Jew. So then, we are the true Israel, Paul said. But, see? Though they could not see that, and though they did not know that the Gentiles were fellow heirs with the Jews, as to the salvation of God, being also the predestinated even as the Jew. See? The Bible said Paul preached the Gospel and as many as were ordained unto eternal life believed and they that were not ordained unto eternal life they did not believe. And God caused Paul to shake his raiment and say, Your blood be upon you own head; I go to the Gentiles. So then, we know that the Jews did know right and wrong and God intended for them to be a light around the world to that right and wrong and they refused to do it, and they failed to do it, and they failed to keep the commandments of the Lord. And so then, that means that they are in trouble. I wish we had time tonight, a few hours to do into it concerning them and the Ark of the Covenant and what is really to happen, and what is about to happen to the Gentile people but we don't have that kind of time. But there is one thing about it, we've got time to tell a little bit about Jesus tonight. We do see and we're not looking through a glass darkly and the veil is gone from our face, as with Paul when he was on his was to Damascus. You remember when he was persecuting the church and the great light of God shined down from Heaven and shined upon Paul, and there he was blinded and it was said to him, Go down to the street called Straight. Paul, or Saul, why persecuteth thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? He said, I'm Jesus of Nazareth whom thou persecutest. With all of his religious zeal he was persecuting the Lord. And the bonds child today in bondage to his human senses, of the five senses as to those things being relative to the earth, of those natural things. He always persecutes the free child. He always persecutes the spiritual child because the spiritual child is always telling him that he is out of order, and telling him that a day is coming, as to a devastation to his kingdom and his way of life. Even when Paul came and preached they said, that man that has turned the world upside down that has come here. Really he was just turning it right side up because the devil had caused the problem to turn it upside down. But, anyway, it's always the warfare between the natural and the spiritual. And in the world today you notice that you can get all kind of freedom, or right to do natural things, to do carnal things. Whatever it might be. Sister Betty and I were sitting for just a few minutes today. I hardly ever get out of my room and I decided to go out for a few minutes just to look through the mountains to see how beautiful it was. It looked like a paradise. And we came over here to a place, tying somebody up by their feet, dropping them down. You know, you try to do something for God and you go out there and you get just a little bit exuberant for God they'll shut you down. They'll stop you. They'll put something against you as some kind of ordinances. Yet the devils that want to live in human bodies will let our children break their neck, or go into frolics or whatever because those devils are in control of the governmental powers of today and they allow anything to rob, to steal, to crush that child to create a sinful and an adulterous generation. And when I say that, you know, I'm not just speaking of the youth. I know when you say the Bible teaches there'll be a sinful and adulterous generation in the last day we say, those youth, those youth; how terrible they are. But it didn't say those youth. It said there will be a sinful and adulterous generation which means old and youth alike. That in that generation all of them, the way that they dress, the way that they talk, the way that they do, their music, their songs, their feelings, their doings, their eating, drinking, the Bible said, in the last days the eating and drinking, and marriage and giving in marriage a continual adulterous thing. You know it will be in the last days for this is as the waters of Noah to me. And there will be eating and drinking at that last moment, and finally the door shut and they were shut out. We're in that very hour right now. We're in the beginning of sorrows right now. See? And in this day that we're living in we don't have what we call a separation of church and state anymore. Though America was set up as a separation of church and state for the great mighty Washington, this thing carried on by Mister Lincoln, but the thing is we don't have that anymore. You know, when it comes to doing something in the natural you can have any place, any where, any time, but when you go to do something for God you run head long into their ordinances and they say separation of church and state to the extent you don't mess with anything the state has got. But when it comes to us wanting to do anything there is no separation of church and state but they just walk right over the people of God. They take control of the people of God. They mistreat the people of God. The old bonds child continually mocks and puts the gun of their side and the badge, and they do whatever they want to through militant force, or whatever. Though we are the government. The Bible says that God chose the people to control and that we were suppose to have our leaders, even as in the days when they chose Saul, the chose David and they chose Solomon. You know, and the people had their king. They said, Give us a king. And we're suppose to be as the government of today. The government of the people, by the people, for the people, but the people do nothing. Each individual feels like he can't do anything, that he's just part of a machine. If somebody does run for congress, or run for some kind of office by the time they go through all the much and all the mess, as to compromise, and they find them a place then they're in there just like all the rest to get the money and do whatever they can and to corrupt the government. Whereas we had a good government, a real good government when the people established the government. Everything was just fine. But with you and I it makes no difference because we are God's people and we are a peculiar people, and we have a King. His name is Jesus and He's going to bring something with true liberty and justice for all as He ushers in the great mighty millennium government to where it will be King Jesus. And the Bible said a King shall rule in righteousness. And all the bondage of the world will be gone and the fanaticism and the fantasy of the world will be taken away, and there will be no more suppression of the people. You know this is the determent of the hour that we're living in, folks, and that is that religious people are being overcome everyday by the system of the world and they are so tired and so weary of battling until they don't battle it anymore like they did years ago. They don't oppose it anymore like the did years ago. They're just so weary they say, Well, maybe we misunderstood. You know, it's pretty good being in the flesh, and doing the things of the flesh anyway so maybe we don't need to be so spiritual. And then they become carnal when the Bible said to be carnal minded is death. There is no life there. That thing, as your creature, the body, that mind is subjected to the vanities of this world. And being subjected to the vanities of this world that means that it cannot be subject to God. It's not subjected to God at all. It cannot be subjected to God. Paul said concerning this body, Oh, wretched man that I am, who shall deliver me from the body of this death. For, he said, when I would do good I see a law warring in my members against the law of my mind and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin and death, which is in my members. And then he waxed bold and said, what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, though the law is spiritual I am carnal, sold unto sin. He said, and though the law is good, he said, yet it could not accomplish the purpose as to bring me life as to a law. There is no way it could do that, he said. It cannot bring me life. So he said God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin condemned sin in the flesh that we who walk after the spirit should not have condemnation. And that we should not be in bondage to the bodily death. Who shall deliver me from this creature, this body, this bodily death. That as to Adams race through which the infiltration comes. You know, it's hard for us to grasp the idea, or even to accept the idea that through Adam is where the problem came. And that being born of Adam is where the problem is. You know, when you say this a lot of questions jump up in people's mind. And you say, Folks, all that is born of Adam in under the control of Lucifer. Not one human being that is born of Adam but what he is under the control of Lucifer. And Lucifer is the god of this world of fantasy and he takes the children of this world into captivity at his will to motivate to move them to do whatever he wants them to do just by impulse and human desire. See? And Adam wasn't the beginning of the creation of God. Adam wasn't the beginning of the creation of God. In Adam all die. That's where death came from. Lucifer got into Adam and in Adam all die. So that wasn't the beginning of the creation of God. But the Bible said Jesus Christ was the beginning of the creation of God. This is the body of Christ. And Paul said this other body that causes me all this problem, Jesus going to Calvary, delivered for my offenses, took that creature, took that body, took that unruly one, took that old fleshly bastard child image and nail it to Calvary in that He was made my sin that I might be made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. And He took my place in death and died out of the presence of the Father and we esteemed Him smitten of God that I might live in the presence of God. Delivered for my offenses, raised again for my justification. And today He is my righteousness and I believe unto righteousness with my heart to make confession unto salvation with my lips. I believe in what He did in my heart. And in so doing the spirit that dwelled in that body, that perfected righteousness before it became my sin to Calvary; that spirit has come into my heart crying "Abba Father" to make me a son of God. And again as I said last night we are already sons of God. We're not trying to get to be sons of God. We're not trying to live good and the dos and don'ts and whatever. By the faith of His works we are altogether His people. They ask the Lord Jesus they said, What must we do to work the works of God? He said, I am the works of God. This was finished in the mind of God before the world ever was, and the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world. And this is the works of God, that you believe on Him whom the Father hath sent. Though James tells us that our faith without works is dead, we must do something, John said, to honor, to obey, to try to please God that we may have the confidence of our faith to lay hold on The Faith of Jesus Christ by which we are saved and sanctified. As the Lord said, Paul, turn my people from darkness, as to intellectual ignorance, unto light, as to the faith and understanding of the righteousness of godliness in Christ Jesus. And turn them on to THE FAITH which is in me, Paul, by which they are sanctified. You know, and this is a big statement and I know that a lot of times we run into problems travelling different places, saying different things because people wonder, and they have a right to their sovereignty, you know. But yet Jesus said, What I say to one I say unto all. We do not have a problem with righteousness when we believe in Christ. Now that the faith has come, we're not under the law, a school master to bring us unto faith and to grace. But now we're under grace and we're saved by the faith of Jesus Christ. Grace through faith. Saved, that not of yourselves. It's not of works lest any man should boast but it is the gift of God. And it is not given to us through repentance. This is something I try to emphasize when we have a chance to talk to the people, and that is salvation is not given through repentance. Though we may repent, though we may cry, though we may say, Well, I'm not serving God today, but whenever I take a notion to serve God I'm going to serve the Lord Jesus Christ. But you can't do that, folks. There is no way. You can take a notion all you want to. You can preach to ten million and they can take a notion. You can draw them as they're doing in our day as to the multitudes of people and they can come and make their confession unto God here. Still that doesn't mean a thing in the sight of God because the Bible said the gifts and the callings, whether it's the gifts of the spirit, or the gift of eternal life, the gift of the Holy spirit. The gifts and the callings are without repentance. Esau sought repentance but he didn't find any place of repentance. See? Repentance is something God has to grant unto you. And the Bible tells us that love the Lord, who are Christians, who do have His Spirit that we should pray for them that are without that God may grant repentance to them. See? because the Bible said we know that God heareth not a sinner's prayer. Therefore we know that He does hear our prayer. And we are set as those in the stead of Christ, Paul said, beseeching God to grant repentance unto them that are without. As the body of the Lord Jesus Christ we are set there. And Samuel said, God forbid that I should sin against God by failing to pray for the people. So then, we know that the gifts and callings of God, as it was said, Paul preached and them that were before ordained unto eternal life believed. And the Bible said we are elect according to God's foreknowledge, as to what He knew of us when He foresaw down through the telescope of time as to who would not serve Him, and who would serve Him and He wrote their names down in the Lamb's Book of Life. And as the prophet said, before I was ever formed in my mother's womb I was called to be a prophet. And as of Judas it was said of him before he was ever born into the world, the prophetical utterance came as to the foreknowledge of God said, Let another his bishopric take. See? That is to say, God in foreknowledge saw the way that Judas would do, and even though grace allowed him to be partakers of the ministry the Bible said he partook of the ministry and fell. Fell from something, the ministry. Fell by transgression, but as long as the devil had never entered into him, then the grace of God, just like the illumination of Adam in the garden, the grace of God protected him. Just like its protecting all of the world today until He can draw the church out. He's got to get the church out. He said, Come out from among them, be a separate people. See? All of you are born of that body, that cocoon. But we're like the butterfly. At the rent veil of the metamorphosis of Calvary we are free of this body and this body is smitten at Calvary and laid in the tomb. It's laid in the tomb. So we know that we are free from sin and death and that by the predestination of God for the Bible teaches that we are the predestinated of God for them that God foreknew, being elect according to foreknowledge, them that He foreknew He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son. Or that is, He decided our destination before, in the foreknowledge of God. Paul said, this things were given to us in the foreknowledge of God, brought to light at the rent veil of Calvary, and down through the church ages has been preached by the ministry, as to the perfecting of the faith. And all of them that were ordained to eternal life they do believe and they must come out. Grace cannot continue on all of the world and it must continue until the change of the body. So to get you out of the world so that you can change that body and become the body of the Lord Jesus Christ so that He can devastate the world with judgment you must come out. So then, it's like Paul spoke in his revelation. Paul said, and he spoke of Jacob and of Esau, and when he spoke of them he said, And the children not yet being born in to the world, having done no good nor evil that it might stand according to election, as of grace and of Him that calleth, which is God. It was said unto them, or the mother, that the elder shall serve the younger for Jacob have I loved and Esau have I hated. Foreseeing the life of Jacob and foreseeing the life of Esau, all of God's works known unto him from the beginning, thus the names were wrote down. And Jacob got, as in his day that was typical of our day of spiritual things, and that day of the natural things, he got the birthright. Esau lost it. Esau being the elder he lost it. Folks, in this world today, though you are born of Adam, or some are born of Adam, as to the world, some are born of Christ, as to the new birth. See? As in Adam all die and were smitten at Calvary. In Christ all are made alive, and by the sins of one man all men come under the condemnation of death. By the obedience of one man, even the Lord Jesus Christ, He took away the sins of the world and He called us to salvation through the grace of God by faith in the finished works of Calvary. So we know that we are the fore-ordained of God and we are the elect. And Paul says concerning the election unto grace, he said, and no one can lay anything to the charge of God's elect for it is God. he is the one that justifies. Christ died for us, yea, is rather is risen again at the right hand of the Lord, or the Father, to make intercession for us. He is the High Priest of our confession unto salvation, or healing, or whatever it might be. And no one can pluck you our of His hand. And Jesus said, Father, everyone that you have given me, I shall raise him up at the last day. I've not lost a one of them. You know, we talk about people coming in then going back out. Jesus said, that's not so. You know, we say, as to the backslider, we say, well, he's on fire today and he's gone back now, but the Bible said, woe unto the back slider. One woe cometh and then another, for I am married unto the backslider. So then, there is no problem there. It has taken care of the backsliding. He said, I have healed your backsliding. And so then we know that God knows His own. And this is the seal of God that stands assured that God knows His own and wisdom is justified of her children. So then, we know that we are God's, and we are God's elect and we are called to this wonderful, wonderful thing of God and there is not one thing that can pluck you out of the hand of the Lord. There is no way that not one of you could be lost. That you are secure, and not only that but on the inside, the Bible said, He that is born of God keepeth himself and the evil one toucheth him not. He is without spot. He is without wrinkle, and he is without blemish. And when I say this I know that I might get a repercussion but we have to preach the gospel. The Bible said, He that God sendeth will speak God's Word. And the Lord usually provides us a good audience and you are good listeners and very sincere people, as to try to listen for the truth. So then, we come to this part of the Scripture, How can this thing be, that we are as light on the inside having no fellowship with darkness for the temples of God have no fellowship with the temples of Belial? So then, knowing this, that God has put a firmament between us and God has separated us as to this light and that we comprehend this light that shines in the midst of darkness. The height, the length, the width and the depth of this great wonderful mind of Christ where the world cannot comprehend it, but we do comprehend it. So through the revelated Word of God we comprehend it. Now when we think abut this we know that we are the predestinated. We know that we are elect according to foreknowledge. How is it that we can be? The Bible said, And he that doeth these things. And then Paul enumerated such things that we should do as a proof of our nature saying, Make your calling and election sure. And in this to present our nature to God, to make sure that we have the attributes of God through the spirit of Christ. He said, If you can do these things you'll never fall. And as to the stumblings and staggerings that men call falling, a good man will fall seven times and get back up. But no one can separate you from the love of God. The love of God was so great and forcefully it gave you the best thing that heaven could afford. And the Bible said, God, seeing he had given us the best thing heaven could afford would He not freely, with Christ give us healing, or all things. For I have given you all things that pertain unto life through Christ Jesus. And all you have to do is just assure your heart by doing the thing to please God to reach up, to take that thing out of the hand of God, as to faith in the Lord. So then we know, and we're going to find a place to close here in just a minute, or two, now. We know this one thing. We know that we're born of God. How far along are we? How are we in the sight of God? Where are we as to the weigh point of life? From point A to point B, what position of life are we now standing in, as to this late date when the Lord is just about ready to come? Folks, when you are born of God you are as secure as a little babe in its mother's arms. Just as quick as you're born you're caught up, as to the inner man, in the Kingdom of God. The law and the prophets until John and since that time the Kingdom has come and the Kingdom has been preached and men press their way in to the Kingdom, and the Kingdom of God is within us. He said of the Jews, the Kingdom of God cometh not by observation neither shall they say lo, nor here. I'll come back to you. I'll be in you. Christ is the Kingdom of God. He is the fullness of God. He's the fullness of all good things. Everything was made by Him, for Him, emanated from Him and without Him nothing was made that is made. So then, we know that we have a great wonderful hold on eternal life, and now we're getting ready for the change of the body, which is referred to as the rapture. Translation of the spirit, transformation of the mind, transfiguration of the body. See? And we're moving now to the transfiguration of the body. Having been translated into the Kingdom of God by faith, the Kingdom of God within us, our spirit is caught up. Interwoven into Christ on the inside. He is light, nothing can touch Him. And then through this tutoring of the church ages, generation after generation, compiling this understanding that God gave us we're transformable in mind, from glory to glory, moving on to the diplomacy of life. Travailing, Paul said, 'till Christ be formed within you to that diplomacy of life, as to the change to the body, which is the transfiguration. Jesus from the manger, this old stable of this beast that we have fallen to down here right in to glory. Not Calvary, but into glory where Paul said, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep but be changed. Which means it's not necessary for a man to die. And we can't get into that tonight but maybe we might mention it tomorrow. I was mentioning it to my wife on the way up here, the mystery of Paul where he said, Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but be changed. And though I have never preached that mystery to anybody I did expound it to my wife on the way up here. So it is a true fact that we have a right to the mystery. And it is a true fact that we are in good hands. How are we as to our condition today? someone would say? We are in this kind of condition. He that is born of God cannot sin. He that is born of God cannot sin, for the seed of God remaineth in him and he cannot sin because he is born of God. He is the son of God already. The son of God already. When he is born of God he is the son of God. The Bible said, Now, beloved, ye are the sons of God, members of the body of the Son of God in particular, even as His Spirit on the inside. And Paul said, It is not me living by Christ living on the inside of me, and the life I now live I live by the Son of God. And this wonderful heavenly treasure that you now have in your earthen vessel should be made manifest in your mortal genes, even the life of Christ through the mind of the transformating toward the glory of God, as to the transfiguration. And God has glorified us. He hath not only saved us, but the Bible says that He has sanctified us once and for all. Somebody would say, But, Brother Pike, you have to be sanctified daily. The Bible does say that we should be sanctified daily. We should sanctify ourselves daily, as to bringing holiness, and perfecting holiness in this body to be holy in body and spirit in that God is the Spirit of life and God is the Spirit of holiness to make it to be manifested in this body, as the virtues, even Christ as to that wonderful power of virtue that went out from Him healing the people. Which the church don't have much of today because they don't withdraw enough to have that virtue, as to the healing powers of God like they did. So then, we know that we cannot sin. Why is it that we cannot sin? Should I dispute with the Word of God? Someone would say, But, Brother Pike, the Bible said if we say that we have no sin then we are a liar and the truth is not in us. And that is the truth. If I, as a sinner in the world, or being born of Adam, if I come to God and I say I am good enough I'm like the man that said I fast twice a week, I pay tithe of all I possess. Lord, I thank you that I'm not like this publican. And yet, he didn't find salvation, but the Publican standing afar off, knowing that he was a sinner said, O God, have mercy on me a sinner. And the Bible said he went down to his house justified rather than the other because the gifts don't come through repentance. And so then, there he was boasting of what he was when he was nothing. But the Publican was asking for mercy, and the Lord said, Verily, I say unto you that unless your righteousness exceed. or excel that of the righteousness of the Scribes and Pharisees ye shall in no wise inherit, or enter into the Kingdom of God. Or, that is to say, unless you get beyond ritulistics and formalities and belonging to churches and doing what you believe to be godly, and accept the righteousness of Jesus Christ by faith of Jesus Christ and accept that righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ that excels human righteousness and formalities of men, he said, you won't make it into the Kingdom of God, for you are translated into the Kingdom of God by faith of Jesus Christ and you are secure and God has sanctified you by the offering up of the body of the Lord Jesus one time and for all. And the sanctification daily is that you yourself submit daily as to the conforming of the making this heavenly treasure, as to the life of Christ, manifested in your mortal genes from glory to glory as you understand to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus, to come to the full development of Christ on the inside of you to that wonderful change, as to Christ within you the hope of glory in that he alone was made heir to the glory of God. So every man, at the coming of the Lord that hath this hope shall purify himself, as He is pure, and be changed. So then, we know for sure. We know for sure that we are sanctified as unto salvation once and for all. Sanctifying ourselves daily as to the use of God to giving our body to try to save our life here, He said, you'll loose it in the world to come. You loose your life for here for me you'll gain it in the world to come. So then, giving Him our body, in that He hath made us the body of the Lord Jesus Christ members in particular, even to the casting down of imagination every thought into subjection of the obedience of the Lord Jesus Christ. So we know that we're sanctified once and for all by the offering up of the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. That takes care of it. And we know that them that He has sanctified, the Bible said, He has also justified being delivered, as to raised again for our justification in the sight of God. Being justified by the faith of Jesus Christ therefore we know that we're justified by faith, we are sanctified by the offering up of the Lord Jesus, and the Bible said them that He has sanctified He has perfected for ever. He hath made perfect for ever. And the Bible teaches that God has made us perfect. I know. People say, Brother Pike there is no such thing as a perfect man. But the Bible said Job was a perfect man. And the Bible said Mark the perfect among you. And the Bible says to you and I, Let us go on to perfection. And the Bible said that God hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified, having sanctified them once and for all by the offering up of the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. And the Bible teaches He has justified us, and no only that but the Bible said He hath also glorified us. If He hath glorified us and we are complete in Christ and a finished product, as to the body of the Lord Jesus sitting at the right hand of the Father when that headship appears, as to the church, these members will be changed into the glorious liberties of the sons of God as to this creature which is subject to the bondage of the beggarly elements of the world by the human senses as of today, will be freed and the creature, the body, will also be purified as to that which Jesus did for us and be delivered into the glorious liberties of the sons of God, which sons of God is the spiritual man on the inside. The Bible speaks of the inner man. Now, beloved, are ye the sons of God. We can't be sons of God today and devils tomorrow. We can't be sons of God with eternal life today and tomorrow we don't have eternal life and we're no more the sons of God. You can't do that. See? People has a misconception of that. That is wrong. You cannot sin. You are a son of God. You have passed from death unto life. You shall never come in to condemnation. There is no condemnation to them that are in the Spirit, who walk after the Spirit, not the flesh. And, you know, we say, Brother Pike, if we walk not after the flesh. There is no way you can walk after the flesh. The Bible said, You are not of the world. I have chosen you out of this world. You are not of this world, even as I am not of this world, He said to those others, You come from the dust. You come from the earth, you go back to the earth. But He said to you and I, The world loves its own, said, but to you and I, We're not of this world. I have chosen you out of the world. You are not of that dust. You are now the body of the Lord Jesus Christ, even as before the world ever was He said, Job, where were you when the morning stars sand together and the sons of God leaped for joy? And as I preached last night, that God looked down and heard the groaning of the prisoners, as to a day accepted, succored them and loosed the prisoners from death. And today we have passed from death unto life and that inner man is now a son of God and he can never die. He now has the gift of eternal life through the predestination of God. And as Paul said to some of his women workers, and to those that were around, he said, Your names are in the Book of Life already. And he said, Salute my women workers whose names are written down in the Lamb's Book of Life. And the Bible said everyone whose names are not written down in the Lamb's Book of Life will wonder after the beast and there is much to be said about that. But, anyway, coming to a close with our thoughts here, what are you doing here preaching to us? I'm preaching to try to win people. If you be a sinner and you say you have no sins then you deceive yourself and you are a liar and the truth is not in you. But, if you come to God. then the Bible said God is just to forgive you of your sins. And in Him there is no sin, and when you are born of God the seed of God cometh into you and you cannot sin because you are born of God. So then we pray. How do we pray? Father, forgive us our trespasses, even as we forgive those that trespass against us. And then when we realize that we are the children of God, we come to this knowledge. The minister is there for the perfecting of your faith. Faith by the hearing of the Word. In the latter times many shall depart from the faith giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, but he that God sendeth will speak God's Word. And so then, our faith is in the Word and the Word is coming forth to cause us to realize that God hath perfected a church. Folks, if we are expected to get perfected by our dos and don'ts we're in worse shape that we've ever been. The church is in worse shape than ever before. Having preached around the world I know this for sure. And instead of getting closer to God they're getting farther away. Jesus said, Faithless and perverse generation. Or, He said, will I find faith on the earth when I come. So then we know that He did the work in the foreknowledge of God. He hath given us this mind saying, Let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus to reveal to us a little at a time, like a little babe, 'til Christ be formed within us, and that mind to come to the diplomacy of the change of this transfiguration of the very body of the Lord Jesus Christ himself. See? To manifest this glory as to this heavenly treasure, made manifest in these earthen vessels even in to our mortal genes. So then, He hath perfected us. Now He is revealing it to us in the last times so that we will have a stabilization of faith. For faith, the way that we have been believing it, it will never transfigure the body. It will never translate us and take us out of this world. We've got to realize that through His grace He hath perfected us. And when we realize that we are perfect in Him and complete in Him then our faith becomes staunch. It becomes full. It becomes complete, as to the perfecting of your faith. And then it becomes such a faith of stabilization that we say. Come, O Lord Jesus. Hallelujah, glory to God, you made me. I'm yours. I love you. Can't nothing touch me. Can't nothing separate me from the love of God. Can't nothing spot me. I am a church without spot, wrinkle or blemish, and I keep myself through the love of God, or the seed that is planted in my heart and the evil one toucheth me not. I am without spot, wrinkle or blemish. Because of your wonderful love my faith is set in Thee for the wonderful translation of the church. And we're close to that. Let's stand together. We'd like to go on and go on saying things tonight of the wonderful revelation of Jesus Christ, as to the translation of the church, but you've been very patient. You've been very good listeners and we took a little longer than we intended to take tonight. But we've tried to hold our voice down a little bit because in here the sound echoes, as I said last night. And another thing is we tried to take our time to where we could not only preach to you as to the conversion of sinners, which we do a lot of times but as to -- The Bible said Jesus was a teacher. He was a teacher. Paul said, I am a teacher and a preacher. And being a teacher to taught the people. He would set down in a little boat and he would just shove out from the shore. He'd stand there maybe on the Mount of Beatitudes, or where ever, and He would tutor the people and the wonderful words of spirit and of life flowed forth and they took hold of it. And as it was when He was resurrected from the dead and He walked with them on the way to Emmaus and they said, Did not our hearts burn within us as He opened the Scriptures to us by the way. And so Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever He opens the Scriptures to us that our faith might become perfect, and our faith might become full. So then, let us do the things that please God. Thereby we assure our heart to the confidence of these wonderful things that are freely given to us in Christ that Satan doesn't create a middle wall of partition, as making war against the soul, abstaining from fleshly lust that wareth against the soul and staying away from those thoughts of the world and the beggarly elements of the world. Paul said, Do you desire again to be in bondage? See? Stay away from those things because those thoughts make war against the soul and they try to pervert your thinking as to the wonderful Scripture. Don't listen to anything, old wives fables, or whatever. Just lay your faith right in there on the Word.If the Word says it believe it. That's the way it is; faith cometh by the hearing of the Word. This is the word of truth and this is the words of life. And this is the Word that secures you unto God to believe in what He has done for you in the righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ. It was given to us in Christ before the world ever was, brought to light at Calvary through the rent veil, preached to us now so that we might understand and believe that it might transfigure our body to the wonderful salvation and the glory of God. Let's give Him a hand, can you? Can you say hallelujah? Hallelujah! All right. Let's sing a little chorus together. I don't mean to raise my voice so much to create an echo here, but let's just praise the Lord a little bit in song. Can we Brother Taylor? (singing) Can you sing it with me? (singing) Can you sing that? (singing) Can you sing that with me? (singing) Sing it one more time. (singing) Let's sing this little chorus together. (singing) The altars are open if you'd like to come. (singing) One more time. (singing) Let's everybody gather around the altar tonight. We're only here three nights. Yesterday, tonight and tomorrow night, and let's pray for the people of Boone and pray for the people of the Carolinas. And ask God to do something special for your children, for my children. For everyone that we might be partakers of the divine grace and glory of God. For God has glorified us and the Bible teaches that God has glorified us with His own glory. You know, the Bible said, And God will not give His glory to another. But, glory to God, tonight we realize that we are not another. We are bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh and Jesus said, Father, glorify these with the same glory that I had with Thee before the world ever was. Or, Father, glorify these with Thy glory because this is my body, members in particular. Somebody say hallelujah! Let's give the Lord a hand. Let's praise the Lord tonight. Let's love the Lord tonight, can we? (singing) Let's sing this together. (singing) One more time together. (singing) One more time. (singing) Somebody say hallelujah! Let's sing this little chorus together, can we? I don't mean to holler at you. Forgive me is I sound like I'm hollering at you. You know, preachers get excited. (singing) Can you sing it with me? (singing) Can you sing that? (singing) Sing that with me. (singing) One more time together. (singing) While they're singing this if there is anybody here that would like to be prayed for if you'll step up here we'll try to pray for a few people tonight. Held you a little longer than I had planned to. Started just to wait and maybe pray for you tomorrow night but tonight there might be somebody here that needs a touch from God. (singing) You know, the question arises in our hearts, Who is it, Brother Pike, that is eligible for healing? Who is it that is eligible for salvation? Since God has perfected forever them that are sanctified those people are eligible. It's not only that but the rain is upon the just and the unjust. And a lot of times God heals other people as to draw them to God, in as much as the Bible says the love of God constraineth us and His love draws us to Him. (singing) One more time together. (singing) Can you say Praise the Lord? Hallelujah! Praise the Lord. Let's lift our hands up together. Nobody that needs prayer tonight, that's wonderful. I think that is glorious. If you don't need prayer it's so wonderful. Now, tonight let's just lift our hands up together. Let's close our eyes and let's sing this little chorus together. Tomorrow night will be the last night we're here. We hope that during this period of three days that we might say something that might encourage you and bring you into a greater, wonderful walk with God of profound faith for the end of the world is here and the saints of God are getting ready, and everything is on the move for Christ. So we know now that the world has had its little show. It's done all of its things. It has done all of the things it can do now, and the church is just about ready to do her thing and that Holy Thing that was born of Mary was Jesus and they're just about ready to do their thing now. And all the world is going to fade into the back ground, and so often I'm reminded of this little thing that is given to the children, how that in the little fables, as we go along through life God expresses Himself even to the little ones so that they might grow up into the wonderful knowledge of God and pick up a few little things even while they're out there on the natural side of life. And I remember a little thing that we spoke about when we preached on a sermon called the Little Glass Slipper, and being enthused it brings it back to my mind. I remember Pat Boone the singer, he heard this sermon that we preached on the Little Glass Slipper and he said, I never knew there was so much gospel in a fable. Like the little story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I like to think of that, you know. It's real symbolic of the church. Snow White, whiter than snow and the seven little dwarfs that cared for, as to the seven church age messengers, we would say. So then, I think of that and I think of the old bewitching one. Paul said, And who hath bewitched you that you should not obey the truth before who whose eyes Christ Jesus evidently was set forth and crucified. This I would learn of you, he said, as he reproved Peter there. Having begun in the Spirit are ye so foolish now that you think you're made perfect by the flesh. Or should we go on believing in God and His righteousness. And as it was said, as to the world of today, you know, the old bewitched one, as to the world of today and we think about that and it has been as to the old bewitching one, Hollywood and all around the place. We preached all up and down the Coast of California and West Hollywood, Anaheim. All of these places out there. And out there and around the world, wherever we go, we find that the bewitching ones with their faces all painted up, and their cosmetics and in their pretty frocks and whatever, you know, kind of like the Prince Charming, as to the sisters while the little sister was off in the back room and she was the one that was doing all the work. And when Prince Charming came he didn't care about the sisters. Like a little story we've told in the past. Numbers of you've heard it. It's something that really happened. Someone in the early years as over in New York went out west to seek himself a wife, to find himself a companion. Being there with all the frocks and the ladies, and the women of New York, he didn't find anything that pleased him. He was a wealthy young man. He belong to-- He owned, or his father did, a great packing company in the cattle raised in the West and he went out there to get himself a wife. And so in going out there he found them with a great ball. They were having a great party. They found out that he was coming and they put on their pretty frocks and everybody got ready because they wanted to be the wife of this young prince that would be coming our there. And when he got there he was so disgusted. According to the story he was so disgusted when he went in and he saw the ball and saw the same thing he'd seen in New York, and he thought in the West he might find a country girl, or whatever. And so then, when he got there he was so disgusted that he slipped out that night, according to the story. And he walked out by the corral. And when he went out there he was standing there in the moonlight and all of a sudden he saw somebody come out from the back part of the house with a pan of dish water. The old fashion way that they used to wash dishes, you know, and threw the dish water out and he was so fascinated by it that he, the story said, that he went over and he talked with her and began to tell her what he was there for and that she just fit his taste to a T. That she was exactly what he was looking for. I'm sure that she had a hard time believing that, you know, but nevertheless, she did believe what he said. He told her that he really wanted to marry her and said, I have to go back, and I'll be back, but at a certain time I'll return for you. At the time of the spring I'll come back for you. So what it was, she told the sisters who couldn't hardly believe that, but she told them and they just kind of made a joke out of it and laughed at her, you know. But she said, Oh, no, he was very serious. I believe him. I believe him. I believe him. And so the time went on and they mocked her. But the time came when he was suppose to come, well she got ready. Fixed herself up, went out on the porch, sat out and waited until she heard the rattling of the buckboard coming up the dry prairie, coming down through there and the horses. And when the chariot pulled up and she stepped on board all of the sister were shocked and amazed because the little old maid that was nothing and everything had happened to her, and now she was everything. She'd owned nothing, but now she owned everything. And away they went. You know, this is the way that I think of the little story about Snow White. Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all? It is always answered by, as to the mirror of life. Paul said, As one beholding himself in a mirror, then going his was, straightway and forgetting what manner of man that he is. But it's always been as the movie stars and all of the frocks of the world fashioning themselves after that. And it was said, Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of the all? The mirror of life has always answered back, as to them that are in frolics, them that have the money, the movie stars and the elite. And them that belong to the upper echelon, and them that are the greats of the earth, and them that are the great educated and whatever. But all of a sudden, one day it was said, Mirror on the wall who is the fairest of them all? And the mirror answered back, Snow White. Snow White. And you know what? The Bible said, Though your sins be as scarlet God shall make them as white as wool, or as white as snow. So then, now we're here and little Cinderella is about to come out. She's about to come out from the back side of life to see if the little glass slipper will fit, as to the preparation of the gospel, and Snow White is coming to the front and this wonderful Bride of Christ will be so beautiful and so radiant that it will outshine the brightness of the noonday to the extent that the sun will never shine again for the Lamb shall be the light of that city. And you being the body and members in particular this wonderful light that you comprehended, this Day Star dawning within you is shining everywhere. Everywhere. And it will illuminate the whole world and take away the corruption and the briars that you might be made manifest as the sons of God within this mortal being. The Bible teaches Jesus Christ brought immortality to light and today it's not a matter of mortality, but Paul said when this mortal has put on immortality then shall be brought to pass the saying, O death, where is thy sting, and grave where is thy victory? So then, this is the victory that overcometh the world, even your faith in Christ. Let's lift our hands up. Let's close our eyes and we're going to sing this little chorus. (singing) Remember, Peter said ye are the people upon whom the ends of the world have come. (singing) You're the generation that has come to your Calvary, even as Peter in that generation. And the Bible said, In the fullness of time, which was at Calvary that God sent forth His son made of a woman, made under the law, to gather all of them in to the body of the Lord Jesus Christ even the waters of Noah when Noah gathered everything into the ark just before the devastation of Almighty God when the floods came and the waters rose above every isle under heaven. And so the wrath of God is rising now. Baptized into the body by one spirit. Are you in the ark of safety? (singing) Now let's sing it like this. (singing) Can you lift your hands up and close you eyes. (singing)
